If there is accessible tap water or seawater at the drilling site, a combination of closed-loop mud cooling system and air-cooled mud cooling system can be selected. Additionally, factors such as climatic temperature, humidity, mud temperature, and drilling depth should also be taken into account, as they determine the type of mud cooling system needed.
