Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. (KOSUN) is a professional manufacturer of solid waste treatment equipment, integrating R&D, design, manufacturing, sales, and technical services. Our products are supplied to customers in more than 70 countries and regions worldwide.

KOSUN’s main products include screening, centrifugal separation, hydrocyclone dewatering, thermal washing and air flotation, mixing, and conveying equipment, as well as vertical cuttings dryers and sludge solidification equipment. These products are widely used in energy development, urban infrastructure, mining, and environmental management, including oil and gas drilling, shale gas development, geothermal energy, trenchless engineering, tailings management, dredging, soil remediation, industrial sludge treatment, and drilling waste management.

Solids Control Systems: Skid-mounted, low-temperature, desert, and mobile drilling mud solids control systems.

Drilling Waste Management: Cuttings dryer, filter press, screw conveyor, drying shaker, oil-based mud (OBM) & water-based mud (WBM) closed-loop systems, complete oily sludge hot washing treatment system.

Construction Slurry Treatment: Slurry separation plant for shield tunneling, shield spoil treatment, HDD mud recycling systems.

Corporate Milestones

1992 — Responding to the "Southern Tour Speech," Mr. Geng Zhonghou founded a trading company in Xi'an, China — the predecessor of KOSUN.
1997 — Designed and manufactured China's first high-frequency shale shaker.
2003 — Designed and manufactured China's first HDD mud recycling system, used in CNPC's Nile River Crossing project in Sudan.
2004 — Established in Xi'an National Economic & Technological Development Zone; registered the "KOSUN" trademark.
2006 — Supplied four solids control systems for China's first independently designed offshore modular drilling rig (PEMEX Project, Gulf of Mexico) — the first Chinese company to enter the American offshore drilling market.
2007 — Obtained self-operated import and export rights; first export of KOSUN's ZJ40 solids control system to Russia.
2009 — Founded KOSUN Kazakhstan Branch in Aktobe — the first Chinese solid-liquid separation company to build a plant overseas.
2010 — Pioneered the Closed-Loop Mud System concept at CIPPE Beijing, setting a new direction for the industry.
2012 — Recognized as a High-Tech Enterprise by the Xi'an Science and Technology Bureau.
2013 — Launched China's largest single-unit vertical centrifuge for oily sludge treatment; awarded "First Set of Major Technical Equipment of Shaanxi Province."
2014 — Named Science & Technology "Little Giant" Enterprise; designated as the Xi'an Engineering Technology Research Center for Drilling Waste Treatment.
2020 — Shield tunneling spoil treatment system commissioned on Shenzhen Metro Line 14 — KOSUN's successful in-house application of this technology.
2022 — Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Capital Environment, entering mine and soil remediation.
2023 — Contracted by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KOC) for two large-scale oily sludge treatment systems.
2025 — Sludge treatment & screening system delivered to the Taihu Lake dredging project, supporting a national key environmental initiative!
