What are the heating methods for low-temperature solid control systems in drilling rigs?

There are two common heating methods for low-temperature solid control systems used in drilling rigs:

1. Steam heating: Steam heating is commonly used in steam heating systems to heat the drilling fluid in the tanks. A steam heating system typically consists of a steam generator, automatic water supply pipeline, condensate water recovery pipeline, and steam distribution pipeline. The steam generator produces steam, which is then distributed to various areas.

2. Hot air heating: Hot air heating utilizes a hot air blower to continuously produce hot air, which is then used to heat each working unit that requires heating. The hot air is transported through an air pipeline. This method ensures a certain temperature even in different working areas.

KOSUN, as a professional solid control system manufacturer, has developed low-temperature circulation systems that can meet the operational requirements of polar (below -40 degrees Celsius) low-temperature drilling. These systems have been successfully applied in oil drilling projects in Russia, achieving excellent results.
