KOSUN has recently completed the design, manufacturing and delivery of a customized 16m³ integrated slurry mixing and pumping system for an oilfield application.
Developed around the customer’s specific operational requirements, the system brings slurry storage, mixing and pumping together into a single skid-mounted unit. This integrated configuration provides a compact and coordinated solution for on-site slurry handling while simplifying equipment deployment and operation.
Designed as an Integrated Slurry Treatment System
In many field applications, slurry handling requires several individual functions, including storage, mixing and pumping. Traditionally, these functions may be provided by separate tanks, mixers, pumps and connecting piping, requiring additional integration at the job site.
For this project, KOSUN engineered the equipment as an integrated package rather than a standalone slurry tank.
The system combines a 16m³ slurry tank, jet mixing equipment, pumping unit, piping and related components on a common skid. By integrating the major functions into one engineered package, the system is designed to reduce the complexity of field installation and provide more coordinated operation.

Customized Around the Application
The system was not developed as a standard off-the-shelf configuration. Instead, KOSUN customized the overall design according to the customer’s requirements for slurry capacity, mixing, pumping, piping arrangement and equipment layout.
This approach allows the system configuration to be adapted to different operating conditions, transportation requirements and available installation space.

Built for Practical Field Deployment
The skid-mounted configuration also supports practical transportation and deployment.
By combining multiple functional components into one integrated unit, the system is designed to make equipment mobilization more straightforward while reducing the amount of on-site assembly required before operation.
The integrated layout also provides a more organized equipment arrangement, with the mixing and pumping functions positioned around the storage tank as part of one complete system.
This field-oriented design reflects KOSUN’s approach to industrial equipment manufacturing: the equipment should be engineered not only to perform its individual functions, but also to work effectively as part of the complete operation.
