A KOSUN drilling mud storage and treatment system has successfully arrived at an overseas drilling operation site, marking the next stage of project delivery.

The equipment has now been unloaded and transferred into the designated working area. KOSUN’s technical service engineers are also on site to support the subsequent assembly, installation, and commissioning work.

From Equipment Delivery to On-Site Operation

This project includes a series of equipment for drilling mud storage and treatment, together with solids control equipment designed to work as an integrated system.

The equipment was transported from KOSUN’s manufacturing facilities and delivered to the project site as scheduled. Following arrival, the project team began unloading and site transfer activities, preparing the equipment for the next stage of installation.

The current project progress includes:

  • Equipment arrival at the drilling site
  • Unloading and on-site transfer
  • System assembly and installation
  • Equipment connection and commissioning
  • Technical service support throughout the process

The project is now moving from transportation into on-site assembly and commissioning.

Integrated Equipment for Drilling Operations

For drilling operations, mud management involves more than individual pieces of equipment. Storage, solids control, separation, and fluid handling need to work together within the overall process.

KOSUN provides integrated equipment and system solutions for drilling fluid management, combining individual solids control units with supporting storage and handling equipment according to project requirements.

The equipment delivered for this project represents this system-oriented approach, bringing multiple units together for coordinated operation at the drilling site.

On-Site Technical Support

With the equipment now on site, KOSUN’s technical service team will continue to support the project through assembly, commissioning, and system operation.

For an overseas project, equipment delivery is only one part of the process. On-site technical coordination helps ensure that the delivered equipment can be properly installed and integrated into the customer’s operating environment.

From manufacturing in Xi’an to equipment delivery and technical support at overseas project sites, KOSUN continues to extend its engineering and service capabilities across international markets.

Moving into the Next Stage

The arrival of the equipment marks an important milestone, but it is not the end of the project.

With unloading completed and assembly about to begin, the next updates will focus on equipment installation, system commissioning, and on-site operation.

From factory floor to drilling site, KOSUN continues to bring integrated solids control and mud treatment equipment to projects around the world.
