It can quickly filter out large rock cuttings with a particle size greater than 75μm in the drilling fluid through a high-frequency shale shaker. The desander following the shale shaker adopts advanced cyclone separation technology and is specifically designed for the precise separation of solid particles with a particle size ranging from 44 to 75μm in drilling fluid. Its core component, the conical cyclone, can achieve efficient separation of solid and liquid phases by means of a powerful centrifugal force field, and quickly remove sand impurities from drilling fluid.
 
As an important supplementary device to the desander, the desilter focuses the separation on finer solid particles with a particle size of 15-44μm. Considering the spatial layout and operational requirements of different drilling scenarios, Xi 'an Kosun adopts a modular design for the desilter, enabling it not only to operate independently but also to be integrated and installed with the desander. This significantly saves the space occupied by the equipment and simplifies the system connection process, making it particularly suitable for drilling scenarios in complex strata. In these scenarios, if fine solid particles are not removed in time, they can easily affect the rheological properties of the drilling fluid and increase drilling resistance. The decanter centrifuge is responsible for handling more precise solid-phase separation tasks. For ultrafine particles with a diameter of less than 15μm and colloidal substances, it achieves deep solid-liquid separation through the powerful centrifugal force field generated by high-speed rotation. More importantly, the decanter centrifuge also has the function of recycling and reusing weighting materials (such as barite). While purifying the drilling fluid, it effectively reduces the waste of valuable weighting materials and lowers the material cost of drilling operations.
