Single screw pump is widely used in the oil drilling industry.

Dec 26, 2019

The single screw pump has been extensively applied in developed countries, which is often called as “mono pump” in foreign countries and known as “eccentric rotary pump” in Germany. For its excellent performance, the pump is rapidly used in a larger application range at home in recent years. The most striking features of the pump are strong adaptability to media, stable flow rate, low pressure fluctuation and high self-priming capacity, which cannot be replaced by any other pumps.

The single screw pump is a late-model pump based on the working principle of return mesh volume. Its main working elements are eccentric screw (rotor) and fixed lining (stator). These two elements form into separate sealed chambers due to their special geometries. The media are driven to uniformly flow along the axial. The flow rate inside the chambers is slow and the capacity remains unchanged with steady pressure, therefore, eddy and stir cannot be generated. The output pressure of pump of each stage is 0.6MPa, the lift is 60m (for clear water), and the self-absorption height is generally above 6m.

Coupler is adopted for direct transmission, besides, high-speed motor, v-belt and gear box are available for speed change. G-type screw pump is easy to be maintained due to fewer parts, compact structure and small size. Rotor and stator are the wearing parts of the pump, and they are simple in structure thus being convenient for disassembly and assembly. The stator is made from several elastic materials, therefore, the pump has the advantage, which is unmatched by other pumps, in transferring liquid with high viscosity or media containing hard particles in suspension or media containing fibers. Its flow rate is in proportion to the rotate speed.
