The centrifugal degasser (centrifugal vacuum degasser) is a high-efficiency degassing unit specifically developed for gas-cut drilling fluids. By utilizing the principle of centrifugal separation, the device rapidly isolates and discharges entrained gases from the drilling fluid, ensuring the stable operation of the circulation system. Typically installed downstream of the shale shakers, it is widely used in drilling mud treatment systems, solids control systems, and mud purification processes for trenchless engineering. The equipment not only restores mud density and maintains viscosity stability but also reduces drilling costs and enhances operational safety. Additionally, the centrifugal degasser can function as a high-power agitator, helping to maintain a homogeneous state of the mud during circulation.

Operational Process of Centrifugal Degasser
During operation, the centrifugal vacuum degasser generates powerful centrifugal force via rotating components, exponentially increasing the buoyancy force on gas bubbles to accelerate their rising and separation. Once the bubbles reach the liquid surface, the gas is rapidly released and further broken down by turbulent action. Subsequently, an integrated blower extracts the separated gas and discharges it into a safe zone or a flare system, achieving a high-efficiency and secure degassing operation.

Compared to traditional vacuum degassers, the centrifugal model offers advantages such as a compact structure, flexible installation, and stable operation. The unit can be installed directly inside the mud tank without occupying additional tank-top space, making it ideal for drilling sites with space constraints. Its modular design integrates the centrifugal cylinder, filtration components, motor, and supports, facilitating easy maintenance and replacement.
